M&M’s Candy Lab was designed for the launch of Mars, Inc.’s latest product, giving consumers the ability to personalize M&M’s candy with text and photos.

I worked directly with the ECD, client & technology vendors to develop the concept for this interactive micro-site that allows visitors to upload a photo of themselves, family & friends. After upload, the image is mapped onto a 3D model that they can make talk, sing, or share with their friends. The photo could then be sent directly to Mars, Inc. to create custom-printed M&M’s featuring their photo.

The site blew away the client’s creative and sales expectations, and even caused the factory to temporarily stop accepting orders so that they could catch up.
